I have shirked my punctual posting promise (alliteration!), and for that I apologize. It’s a pretty hefty commitment to not only post every single day but to have an adventure worth posting about – kudos to those who blog much more consistently and with more in-depth content than I. It’s a lot of work!
I do plan to get back to my every day (or maybe every other day/weekly/semi-weekly) adventures at some point but will probably change the focus of this blog for the near future; I have a long weekend trip this weekend, which I think an appropriate ending to this month of adventure, and will talk about it alongside the reflection from the month. BUT since my focus this summer will largely be on prepping for a month-long, pseudo-RTW trip in August/September, I want to focus on writing about that process of planning and packing. I would also love to post at least semi-regularly during or after said trip so overall, this will probably take the tone of a travel blog for the next few months. I understand that that isn’t everyone’s thing, and I appreciate the time and energy everyone has taken to read, favorite, and comment on my posts this month.
If you want to stick around, I’ll be “rubbertramping” to Banff National Park in Alberta, Canada this weekend and, longer-term, sharing my prep for backpacking Thailand, Hong Kong, London, and France later this summer. Since I am passionate about and currently still dealing with my own mental health, I’d like to continue to incorporate that into the posts. Any advice from travelers about backpacking, traveling with anxiety/depression, or any of those places I mentioned above would be much appreciated!
